went to a pretty good size auto swap meet today, held in the parking lot of the arena where the sacramento kings play. came up with a 24V sun timing light. it's not marked for military, so i guess it probably isn't, but the case is navy grey.
i dug out a spare spark plug wire, and bared some of the core so i could clip on and try it in the next few days. i was thinking of trying to figure out a way to draw my power from the slave cable connector that sits just below the heater vent.
has anyone ever tried something like this? does anyone have any suggestions how i might accomplish this?

Take a meter and find witch of the pins is the hot and then find a bolt that fits in there, not tight, just slides in. Hook your ground to the ground wire at the horn or similar.
