Hi guys,
I bought a non-working PRC-77. I am deciding what's the best thing to do with with when I install it on my M151. For example:
1) Do I try to get it to work?
2) Use the shell and install a modern CB radio or stereo?
3) Use the shell and install a cellphone?
4) Use it as a beverage cooler?
Any other suggestions?

Your a marathon runner correct? Strap it on your back and train with it. The next marathon will feel like a run around the block!!

Getting it operational depends on how much is missing in the radio. Also you will need someone to align it If you want to be able to talk to someone.
There are several threads on converting radios to other uses on the forum.
It will depend on what you want to do and how much you want to spend.
