Great pics Dan. Love that tow bar too! Did you decide to keep the non emissions tank?

I'm enjoying the pictures, and watching what you are doing. Looks like you are serious about the camo design.Image

The non emissions tank is staying for now. Although I did just come up with an "emissions" one last week. Once I have all the right tubes I will have the "emissions" tank boiled out and install it. These pictures are about 3 weeks behind where I really am right now. I already had the ROPS kit in and the new gaskets and related on the "non emissions" tank so replacing it was not motivational. :|
Getting the camouflage pattern to be as close as possible to the manual was a chore. The lines do not necessarily line up between the top view and side views in the manual.

You think we are looking at the MUTT. Actually we are checking out your work area, and tools (Just kidding).
Looking great...a lot of time/work has gone into your vehicle. Much appreciated by those that have done the same thing, been there, done that and got the T-shirt to prove it.

Mr. diablo45 AKA Sam,

I have been to a lot of auctions in my time and was worried about your uncle, I could tell he was probabbly talking with another collector, etc... as he was on the phone durring the bidding. This is where I get those mixed emotions of feeling bad for your dad as I hate bursting peoples bubble. But obviously I did get it very reasonable :D sooooo. :? Obviously check back often and see the progress. It did go to a good home where it will be loved I can prommis you that! Although I have been spending $$$ on it like it was the last one on earth...... I have an obsesive personality.... Good for the kind of work I do, but costs a lot of money when I restore something. Reminds me of my M1903A3 tangent I got on last year  :!: :!: I will post some more on Sunday when I am at the office working on it again. I am almost done with everything except the power pack, Wheel seals, Bushings and Diff seals as the last items.

Nice job! Got to say your son doesn't look to happy. Dad must of dragged him out of a warm bed too early. One benefit of having my boy help me is that I don't have to do the dirty or cramped area work. I have photos of my boy with the same expression.

Artillerydan,
No burst bubbles here :D We go to auctions alot and have built quite a few M151's. We knew we could only go so high on the bid because we still had to have it shipped to MI or come pick it up! I am glad to see it went to another jeep person and not to somebody that was just going to throw it up on ebay as a "barn find" .
It looks great so far and I look forward to seeing its progression.
