I'm sure some of our politicians will use this as an excuse to try to pass more gun control laws, when the opposite needs to happen. It is too bad that the laws already on the books forced these people to be unarmed against a man who obviously had no intention of following any gun control laws.

that occured right nearby where I am. the shooter was a 41 year old Vietnamese guy who had just been laid off at IBM. He went into the ACA, which is a civic organization dedicated to helping immigrants become citizens and acclimate to living in the US. He parked his car up against the back door of the building so no one could get out that way, then walked around the front with a rifle and entered and started shooting anyone he saw. He killed 12, wounded 3, then shot himself. There were about 40 more people in the building. A large number of the people there today were there to take their citizenship exam.
It is still unknown what his motivation to go there and start killing random people was...
