Repairing Steering Wheel
Okay I remember something on this topic awhile ago but my search has left me to ask the question. I think it was Ralph F that told me there was a product out there that one can use to fill the cracks on the steering wheel. I was an epoxy I believeso if anyone knows what I'm talking about and can provide a source I'd appreciate it.

Re: Repairing Steering Wheel
I think the product is called PC-7. I think that's the name. It's a two part epoxy that you mix and form into a puddy that you can fill the cracks etc, then sand and smooth after it dries. Really strong stuff too. Here's a link to their web pagehttp://www.pcepoxy.com/
Not sure if this is what was talked about, but I've read articles on the "professionals" restoring steering wheels that said they used PC-7.

There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....

Re: Repairing Steering Wheel
JB weld works too and it's cheaper.
It'll sand smooth and accepts paint fine.

Re: Repairing Steering Wheel
JB Kwik is made by the same company and sets up in four (4) minutes. You don't need the strength nor heat resistance of JB Weld.
