Anyone install the underbody kit for the front crossmember? My A1 needs the kit. Last night I was looking at the parts and it appears that the passenber side will have the be trimmed down some. Also, the small end caps will need to be modified a little. Not a big deal but I was not expecting that. For those that have installed them, what did you have to do, if anything?

Re: Installing front crossmember underbody kit
Guy,
I had the same issue on one side i had to trim it on the other i had to extend it , your right I dont think its big deal , it might have been a result of the reweld from the xcut not sure.
After underbody kit was installed but before I installed body panels, I measured the distance to center unibody frame near tranny to the side panels after I clamped them in place and sure enough one side is wider than the other by about an inch.
So i just modified the small end caps to make it work.
