Is this because of the welded frames or this could happen to a single piece one too :?: .... i guess if one jumps off a ramp that is sure to happen

I like to make my jeep fly too and i've had a few frame incidents and several suspension repairs.

I was thinking on having all the spot welds on the jeep fully welded to strengthen the structure, not sure if that will effect anything though.

I'm sure someone will let us know.

Damn, I hate to see something like that. Don't think it's the direct result of being cut, as that is not a common place to cut them. Probably just a stress point that finally flexed one too many times. Direct result of too much abuse on a 40 plus yr old unibody. I fear I'll have nightmares from that picture.

Not an M151, but the visual makes me think of MuttVet, and that jeep just before it happened, Hooah :D

Come on HTN, what do you think of it? Early 151, check out the ears on the gas cap. Bumperettes are upside down, civi rear view mirror (should have none), civi or A2 side mirror, civi tail lights, one piece windshield, and unauthorized seat covers. What's that dodad next to the trailer plug?

Scary part is, it looks like that branch is wired up under there for a reason.

That is why if the rear cross member rotted out they were considered junk. There was no repair for the rear cross member. If that cross member goes there is no structure in that area beside the inner fenderwell and the small bit of side panel, which is where it split in the picture. Notice the left rear tire is pointing out. That means it also ripped the suspension out of the cross member. The tree is probably holding the drive shaft from hitting the ground.
