M1030B1

This thing is a sweet cruiser, I'm on my tiptoes when sitting on it, 60mph @ 4000 rpm, decided to ditch the windshield and added stencils, back in stock form.

You WILL put that windshield back on when you get smacked in the forehead at 60 MPH with a June bug!!!! I hit one at about 95 one night and it shattered my face shield!! One of the few times I was using the shield since the bugs were bad that night. If that had hit me in the face I would have crashed for sure. Bad part was I had 30 more miles to go without a shield and major paronoia!!!
And that bike would be just the right height for me, I don't know why you have issues with it.

I've put about 400 miles on it so far, I haven't done any serious riding in a few years, need to get my butt back in riding mode, about an hour and I need to take a break. I did add a little molle pouch to carry my water, phone, etc..., it's a blast to ride, too bad cold weather will be here soon.

when i was young, i rode year round. ONCE, and once only, i went on the snow run that was organized by magri's harley shop, up hwy 50 to lake tahoe. we had to make our own tire chains for the bikes, they weren't sold anywhere. off we went, like the lunatics we all were. magri showed up for the ride in his sidecar rig. the rest of us rode solo bikes. over the years we had seven harleys, three with side cars. i had to quit riding a while back, my back just couldn't do it anymore. i still miss it, though. here is a pic of my 64 duo glide that i had before i went to the nam, and for a long time after i came back.
