Access Panel ??

Has anyone ever cut the front top cowl panel to gain access to wire or brake master cyl. or ???...could be easy done and would look ok to me....the military should have done it ...if you have please post a photo...htn

There's really nothing to be gained by it. The MC is designed to come out from below and really isn't the huge PITA everyone claims it is.

Orrrr, If you can work miracles with bodywork and make things look normal where they normally would not. :roll: :lol:

Just pull the 3-handle light switch and the instrument cluster out and you have all the room you need without cutting anything.

Mark, you're right, as that is the only "easy" way I know of to access the master cylinder. Still a little hard on the back, regardless of age!
