A2 fuel pump question
i believe that the dodge slant 6 fuel pump fits this block, but i can't recall the year availability, or the part number. is there anyone here who can provide that information, or sell me a working A2 fuel pump? the museum here just had a jeep donated, but it has some problems, and i am trying to help them figure it out. there is no fuel coming from the tank to the carb. i use to have the napa part number, but can't find it anywhere.

Re: A2 fuel pump question
thanks guys. i passed the info to the guy in charge of this at the museum. the museum recently acquired a 1962 M151, which needs some work but i have seen much worse examples brought back to life. it still has it's original data plate, and quite a few other important bits. it is a half cut jeep, but was repaired quite well. at one point in the past, it had a gas fired heater installed. some of the parts are still on it. it also has the manual pull start cable to actuate a frozen starter mechanism. there is an M4 mount, carrying a fake M2, minus the barrel. we got it to start by squirting some gas into the carb, but it didn't run very long, obviously. there are currently unknown brake troubles, not yet looked at. it has an A2 windshield, with electric wipers, so that will probably remain, and hopefully the decision will be made to install the mechanical fuel pump, since there is no need for a vacuum pump. it has a later model hand brake handle, and the windshield appears to have been from a 718, as the top bow brackets are still in place. as i said, it has some issues, but hey, it was free. three of the four guys working on it are nam vets.
