Sherwan

That pic Eric has is the standard pic that Firestone has on their website. The same tire is available in a variety of widths and sizes.

Yes Raymond, but my question is wouldn't a wider tire than standard make steering difficult and lessen the life of the tie rod?

Sherwan,

The tire i'm going to get is an LT225/75R16/D. It's only 8.8 inches wide.

That won't pose a problem with the tie rods. Standard 7.50 x 16 NDCC tires will fit on the M151A2 with no problems at all.

If you're worried, it's not too difficult in changing the tie rods to something stouter. Call Tom at Rapco parts, he has done it before.

If by 10.50 you mean 10.5 inches wide that won't work for a M151, they have 6 inch rims. That's too wide for that rim. You wouldn't want to go much past 8.8 inches.
