I was thinking the same. What to do with it. Like I said it is in pretty much the same condition as mine when I got it. Nice but not perfect. Not really a museum piece and on the other hand quite expensive to make it a ‚normal‘ driver.

I never regretted turning mine into a driver and adding 6.000 miles onto the 82 it had when released. But what I paid was very reasonable in comparison.

Some of the Barstow MUTTs were stored inside and man, they were looking like they just rolled off the assembly line. But to get one of those, I was too slow back then.

If you are looking for that kind of money that is above a 20,000 dollar reserve then you don't try to sell it on Ebay!! You take it to Mecum or Barret-Jackson. That is where the real deep pocket pocket buyers are.

just this week a 1968 A1 was listed just a few miles from me, the next town over. he is asking $21,500. no pics of the typical problem areas, no mention of title, no display of a current license plate, only makes a big deal out of the relatively low mileage. no history explained at all. makes an old guy a bit suspicious.

For that kind of money I would find somewhere that I could put it up on a lift and go over every square inch of it. As far as I am concerned there are no 151's worth that much money (except mine   ) and I want to find the gold bars hidden in it before I purchase it.

That’s probably a lot of 151 for that money. Even without knowing anything on rust

Clean looking M151 in Ohio. Cut and paste of the ad below. Also a M718 from the same seller.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 526444473/

M151A2 titled as a 1970. This vehicle was built mostly out of New Old Stock parts including the body. Obviously it is uncut and has zero rot. The list of NOS parts used is extensive and as follows: Body, windshield, hood, grill, battery cover, seat frames steering column, steering wheel, steering box, steering linkage, engine, transmission, radiator, differentials, front suspension arms, shocks, axle shafts, drive shafts, wiring harness, front USMC bumper, top, top bows, windshield wiper motor, transmission tunnel cover, exhaust system, gages, speedometer, lights. About the only used part on this is the rear suspension arms. Tires were NOS coopers that still have good tread, but are old.

Mileage on speedometer is what is on the restoration. It started with 3 when I restored 15 years ago or so.

From Evilbay today, from Cedar Spring, TX, M151A2. Lots of photos, including some showing considerable underbody rust-out. Asking 7,500.
