Interesting on the TOW Mutt that the sellers phone number is in the listing to contact. I thought eBay went out of their way to prevent buyers and sellers from possibley working a deal outside eBay and avoiding their ever increasing fees.

Facebook marketplace has two a2's in Mississippi right now for $7000 separate or $12000 for both. Look decent from the pictures but no mention in description of cut/uncut, pics under, or title.

That's a very clever roof rack and it looks great, but having any amount of weight up there would increase rate of roll substantially.

And the other, with winch, isn't such a good idea either considering there is no actual frame on a MUTT. So, if you're considering buying that one, you'd have some checking to do underneath.

Cheers,
TJ

I wonder how the lift was accomplished on the winch version, to accept the larger tires. On mine, someone previous to me had welded extra coil portions to the springs, providing clearance for off-road (commercial that is) tires and Ford rims.

Coil spring spacers probably. That rack is not going to make any more unstable than a modern Jeep. Drive like a normal person knowing you have a high center of gravity vehicle. It has a Canadian ROPS in it also. Judging from the general condition of the bodies on both of them I would guess they are in pretty good shape underneath.

The one with the latches and fiber inserts looks like the mount for the radiation detector. There also looks like there might be a rare AB-15 corner mount in the pile.

Tempting, very tempting but I am not up to a trip all the way across the country and I doubt I could afford to pay to ship it if I could even find someone who would.
