Sweet, then you can get a second one to tow tandem behind that one to put the mutt in.

Re: M718A1 restoration
Thanks Clell, now that I have showed my wife a couple of converted ones, she's coming around.
Not going to put but one fold up table in mine, TV, AC and heater will be in the V-nose, bed will go up/down in 4 minutes, I have everything but the $100 queen bed, windows are $100 ea, and rope lighting $50, hoping to spend less than $500 to finish it out.

Headed to my first show tomorrow, it's a vintage car and truck show, going to enter in the special interest or 4x4 class.

Re: M718A1 restoration
Why did you back it in? That puts most of the weight on the trailer axles and very little on the tongue. I will warn you that without enough tongue weight and going down the highway at 60 MPH if you get a good gust of wind from the side or a passing truck you can get into a serious case of the tail wagging the dog. THAT is not something you want to experience!!!! Box trailers are much worse at that than open trailers due to the large surface area of the sides. As the swerve from side to side starts the air hits that side of the trailer and pushes it to the other side harder each time. If that happens let off the gas and hit the trailer brake only, do not hit them full if you have the setting maxed out and do not hit the vehicle brakes until the trailer is under control. With that setup you need at least 400 lbs. of tongue weight.
And backing in as you did you found out about slippery ramps already, I see you yanked the strip off the edge with your burnout. Ah LUV the smell of burnin' rubber in the mornin'!

Got beat out by an early Bronco in the 4x4 class but got 1st place in the antique motorcycle class.

Re: M718A1 restoration
Can't win them all but 50% is not bad. I had two of those old Broncos. One was a 70 and the other a 73. I am STILL kicking myself for selling them.

Re: M718A1 restoration
excellent!
Only issue is that you probably miss the fun driving it at any weather and with any road condition?

Drive it around!!!?? He pushes it out of the trailer onto carpet and then rolls it back in if the clouds even roll in.
