Welcome to Florida, land of sensible carry laws, no emissions testing or vehicle inspections, logical vehicle registration policies, no state income taxes, no gun registration. Heaven!!
Great weather, too.

Be sure to register for homestead act tax relief at the local courthouse, get a FL license, register to vote, change vehicle registrations, etc ... as soon as you can, otherwise when your former state comes after you for their taxes, and they will, you can prove your new residence. Keep all receipts from your move, safe for 5 years.
I speak from experience as I didn't do all of what I just mentioned and I got hit for 2 years of taxes from CT.
Also get a carry permit. It is a good thing and easy- just bring a DD214 to sheriff's office.
I have a place about 95 miles from you.

you probably have it covered then, but make sure you are under the homestead act, too. Basically means reduced property taxes. To do this you need to swear in at the courthouse.

Yes Rick, there is that. I drove for Penske on contract for Superfresh and delivered to most of the stores over in New Jersey to Towns like, Ocen City, North Wildwood, Cape May Court House, Hightstown, S. Brunswick, and so on, so I know how often the roads flood over there and how much SNOW and ICE there can be here in Md. and in NJ. :P

Here is a look at Mr. Recover's new location, the red car in the yard nextdoor is my nephew's 68 Camaro, he is now my neighbor 8)

I guess now you don't have to worry about getting new tires on your current work truck do you? Yea, 40 some years of plowing snow is getting REAL tired! I never got to play with my daughter in the fresh snow because I was always out plowing it for two days after the storm. Five more years and I can walk out of this place and head somewhere warmer.

I'd offer a safe place to store that building, but I'd probably be tempted to 'build' it. ;)
