It is a bolt to keep the top bows aligned. Look at pages 212 and 213 in the 1978 -20P, Item # 5 I would post a pic but I can't figue out how to load a PDF on this forum.

When you put the bows up to install the soft top (canvas or vinyl) what holds the front bow from moving is the bolt shown in that e-bay sale. If you look at your bows you will see a threaded hole where the two pipes come together.
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....

Actually, it's item #3 in that manual.

ETA: There is no way I'd pay that much for a pair of them though.

I needed a set for my Kaiser M151 and picked them up from Ohiomutt this past summer for a fraction of that price. If You need a set, I can get them for you and send them if a US vendor is not able to mail overseas. Get your list together and it can be mailed in one package. I bought mine last year from Front Line Military Vehicles for 5.50 ea. However I don't know if he ships overseas.
