Hot Rod Night, Boerne Texas
Took my truck to the car show hosted by Soda Pops (burger joint) and The Sugar Shack (ice cream parlor and confectionary) and The Hot Rod Garage. It's "Hot Rod Night" in name only and tonight was the first one of the year so that meant a HUGE turn out by everyone who had been working on their rides during the off season. Anything and everything showed up and some of these vehicles were absolutely fabulous, but the real standouts were the 49 and 59 (convertible) Cadillacs.
Mine was the only military vehicle there and everybody seemed very interested and curious. As you know, I've kept mine as close to "as found" condition as I could which really stimulates a great deal of conversation. Lots of people were asking questions, particularly the hard core Jeep lovers. There was so much terrific stuff there and I spent so much time looking I'm embarrassed to say I never really got around to snapping pictures.

TJ,
I was there tonight and saw your A2. Looked for you but you were looking around, I guess. Your neighbor at the show said you told him to make sure nobody scratched your paint. I saw the clean spots you talk about from a long way off. Nice potential there for a good restoration.
Maybe I'll see you there at the next show.

Yup, I saw you...showing more than a passing interest in the MUTT but I was engaged in some conversation with a fellow nearby.

I am unable to see pictures on this and several other post. It says I need to update my account to enable 3rd party hosting. I don't understand what it is talking about, can someone give me a clue.

What it means is that photobucket want the owners of the pictures to pay 400.00 a year for them (photobucket) to put the photos back. I apologize to anybody looking for my old ones. I am NOT bowing down to extortion. It WAS a free service when the pictures were put there. I will be replacing my picture over the next few weeks with new ones from https://postimages.org/phpbb.
