M151a2 spring insulator

Unread post by Ben Australia M151A2 » January 22nd, 2018, 5:03 pm

Did the M151A2 have spring insulators? My unit has none and the rear can be a bit creaky, i have replaced all the bushers and a insulator would fix my creak i suspect.

Not that I can find in the tech manual. If you haven't already done so, I strongly recommend downloading the TMs from the "G838 Manuals" tab at the top of the screen. The -20 series (-1 and -2 suffix) are the items to address most of the repair/replacement issues, while the -20P has the parts listings as well as exploded drawings of what goes where. If you're in need of a deeper mechanical understanding of the M151A2, then use the -34 TM and the -34P parts manual.

What can't be answered in those books can readily be addressed by the other members here on the G838 forum.
