Good one Sherwan
I bet that's where all the NOS A2 steering wheels went though.
No reserve means either he has balls of steel, or he's got nothing invested in it. I'd estimate the value at nearly equal a current M151 price that had been restored in 1991. Long term they won't hold a value to a MV collector like a real M151 would, but they drive, and perform like an M151. Hell the new Growler cost a 1/4 million, and it doesn't have the hard top like this one. :) It's got no ROPS in it either. It has to be worth $6k-$8K, weren't they $12k+ new? One day it'll need body work and the owner will put on the same replacement panels as we use on ours. Then it'll be really hard to tell them apart without climbing under them or checking out the firewall.

What happened to the guys that said, "I'd like to have one but I can't afford one"? $6K is a small price to pay for a 151 look alike that you can 4 wheel off road and test fording kit function with and not worry about screwing up a historical vehicle. You can beat it up and have fun doing all the things you won't do with your current jeep. :D Guess it's not worth $6k to you die hard purists. :P

I agree Rainman...
6k is not bad for a wannabe m151, one can mod the sh*t out of it and does not have to worry about destroying a classic.

I was one of those guys and I still am but I am not going to pay 6 grand for one. I can buy 6 or 7 CJ-7's for that price!

Be nice just for the original parts if they were in good shape but not for that money.
