Secrets Revealed!

Unread post by mrdibbles » April 12th, 2009, 8:32 am

Hey Guys-
Exhaustive research has finally revealed what M151's should look like in private party hands. We don't need to guess anymore on what shade of 34079 is "correct".

Incredibly an accompanying accessories list also shows which critical items we all need to be carrying in our Jeeps!!! From where I sit those of you that are interested in modifications can now modify away without guilt (so long as your mods look exactly like the ones below) :D

Could these findings be the Holy Grail of Muttery? This looks fantastic!!!!

Hello Matt,

this looks like the cover of the box containing the "Nichimo" motorised model kit. The kit itself is something of a collectors item now.... (-:

Correct shade of 34079?
The correct base color code for M151 series vehicles is 24087 and there is only one correct shade.
34079 is used as part of the 4 color camoflage pattern.

Chef this is where you are wrong. M151A2s did see service in 34079 although the purpose of my post wasn't to argue shades of OD

I grabbed the last one he had(not as expensive), it is molded in green, not gold(??) they are actually VHTF complete in the box......not quite as HTF as the resin 1:15 which can run $300-400! My son helps me build these and we run them around the back yard! What can I say....I love toys! :D

Did anyone notice the rear seat(s)? they are mounted up on the rear wheel wells like an M151A1C. I guess an option for that particular truck was a recoiless rifle? Aside from the above items shown, of course :) .
