Transmission seal kit ID
What transmission seal is this kit for? My Google-fu has been weak today.

Re: Transmission seal kit ID
Do we know if this kit is compatible with a yoke that has a wear sleeve installed?
Re: Transmission seal kit ID
I don't know but if it does not come with the sleeve as part of the kit then I would say no.

Re: Transmission seal kit ID
I think we had this topic already at some point in time. It is that special seal with two lips instead of one.

Re: Transmission seal kit ID
Installed this kit today and it did finally fix my recurring transmission leak.
Re: Transmission seal kit ID
Did you have a sleeve on your yoke? If you do then it will be a really tight fit, may last or may not.

Re: Transmission seal kit ID
Some things to consider with driveshaft yoke leaks. If the yoke is older then the splines could be worn and the yoke will wobble and that will cause a leak. If someone tapped the yoke in with a block of wood or hammer that will dislodge the plug in the yoke and it will leak through the plug. These yokes have to be installed by hand and gently pushed in as the trapped air escapes past the splines.
