Distributor to rebuild

Unread post by Redlight » February 5th, 2024, 12:01 am

I am looking for a distributor that I can rebuild. I have new coil, electronic ignition and cap. My existing distributor is not working and I would like to have a good spare that I could install to get it running. I had to pull the powerpack and replace the clutch. I got it running and went to get a state inspection. On my way for the inspection, the master cylinder let go and fluid poured over my feet. Got that fixed and now my MUTT will not start. It has been too cold to troubleshoot. I would like to swap the distributor as a whole to get in running. Takeout would be fine.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sure I have some, but they take a bunch of work to get them right. Also, they can go together 180 degrees out, if you are not very careful. What type of electronic ignition do you have to use in the rebuild. Do you have the correct rotor for it? I've rebuilt many of these. feel free to ask questions.
