I'm looking at a dummy M-60 that was made by IRAC about 8 - 10 years ago. It really lookes good and was made from an actual parts kit, complete barrel assembly, trigger group and Butt stock. Also a demilled receiver. The top cover is original, just empty. Trigger pulls, top cover opens, bolt is welded.
Value?? I am considering buying this, just not sure of the value. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
Bob

Re: Dummy M-60 Question??
I'd say min. 1K, my dummy came from replicas and models, I don't know if he's still in business but it was cobbled together, looks nice from a few feet but up close you can see the problems, I paid 900. Does it have a real rear sight? From the sound of it, it seems to be well put together, $1000-1500 would be a decent deal. Anything under 1K would be a good deal.
The rear sight on mine was cast alluminum, it came with two spares. When I first got it, I was like WTF why would he give two extra rear sights. I know the reason now as all three broke over the years. A real M60 rear sight alone is worth 175.00 min.

Re: Dummy M-60 Question??
I agree, anything under a grand is a good deal if you've seen the MG, and it looks good enough for your jeep. I'm not saying I feel it's fair but just the lowest going rate for an M60 replica.
