Help ID seat frames
I've got an A1 and an A2 that I'm piddling around with. Have two wire frame seat frames in the parts stash that have an adjustment knob in the center front that are on neither of the frames that I currently have installed. Would these seat frames be early or late? A1 or A2 or just 151? I can post pics in needed.
Also, I have a hood in the stash. Any differences in hoods between models?
I'll hang up and listen.

Re: Help ID seat frames
The screw type seats are early 151. The early straight 151 hoods had three ribs and no slots for the wires to go to the turn signals. Some of the later A2 hoods also have the three ribs but do have the slots for the wires.

Re: Help ID seat frames
Did the early trucks have two screw type seats or just the drivers?

Re: Help ID seat frames
From what I remember only the drivers seat had the adjuster.

Re: Help ID seat frames
OK, thanks guys. Nice frames, but I guess would be incorrect for either of my two MUTTs, so they are available if anyone wants or needs one. Shipping from GA would probably have to be FastenAll. Or, I may be taking a road trip up to the Boston area between now and Xmas.

Re: Help ID seat frames
You might want to check with Ken but I am pretty sure it was both seats. I don't think they came out with the two position seats until the A1.

Re: Help ID seat frames
Rick,
yes, both front seats were screw-adjustable.

Re: Help ID seat frames
Pulled seat frames out for pics and only one is adjustment knob type, other is single bar. Hood has three rids, but no holes for wires. Pics posted here for future ID assistance.
