Looks good, you know, you would have a LOT more room to work in there if you didn't have all those motorcycles in there! I can help you with that.

Thanks HTN, I have the top covered, was able to pick up 3 NOS tops and side curtains over the years, may take a little effort to get them stretched back out. Maybe someone else will restore one some day, I will have some leftovers. :D

This guy either works in his shop in his socks or he stores his old military parts in the house. I like his style!!!!! Nothing like that old military canvas smell in the morning.

 , I have my canvas stored inside under my bed, my wife complains regularly, I told her it has to be stored in a controlled environment, nothing like waking up to the smell of coffee and canvas. :D

What variety of Federal color was used on your truck? FS 24087? And from who did you get your paint? My A2 is due to return from having a lot of sheet metal (Thanks Guy!!!) replaced, and will be getting some localized metal prep soon, so I'd like to explore picking up the right color OD.

I used Gillespie 24087 from Rapco on mine, thinned 4 to 1, lays down well, I've used over a gallon so far, with more to go.

To get the faded look, I think I put kerosene on it, not sure though.(should have never repainted it as the 50 year old paint was as faded as it was going to get.)The new paint was shiny as I didn't shake it good enough as the dulling agents kept to the bottom.
I guess this is an irrelevant post as no one wants their mutt to look old and faded and over the hill.LOL!

Got the hood, grill and most of my mounts painted, plus all the bolts that mounts this stuff, my blast cabinet has been getting a workout.
