Re: Barn Find
Guy is going to be examining each tank in minute detail to find and figure each variance. You know what he's up to! This is going to be fun to watch.

Re: Barn Find
Finally organized the tanks. 25 A1 with at least 5 having clean inside, 6 A2. Once winter sets in I'll start going through them.

Re: Barn Find
Not every day you get to ride a '48 and '58 pan head! '48 is foot clutch, shift lever on the side of the tank. They both run like they were made yesterday. '48 was true barn find. Was parked in '78. Had about 3" of bat poop on it. He did mechanical restoration only on it.

I found another Gama Goat.. Does that count?
Re: Barn Find
my first bike was a 1948 pan, with a tank shift 4 speed. i was so short at that age, 16 years old, that i had to take the seat post out and let the seat t-bar rest on the frame, in order for my feet to reach the ground. my next bike was a 1964 duo glide, which i rode for the next 20 years, before i sold it, with it's sidecar. i miss those days.lpcoating wrote: ↑October 10th, 2020, 8:03 pmNot every day you get to ride a '48 and '58 pan head!
