Avatars

Unread post by rickf » May 7th, 2020, 8:53 am

I have noticed that a lot of your custom avatars have disappeared since the upgrade on Monday. I will address this with the IT guy next Monday when I talk to him. This is most likely just a matter of a file that did not get moved back so don't do anything until after Monday evening.
Thanks for your patience, I know how hard it is to live without Raymonds avatar but I am sure we can get by.

Ok, I don't see Tj's either, how about you Mr R? It may just be the mods that are affected.

I can see mine as well. Does this mean we can change our avatars to something really 'edgy' and you moderators wouldn't know?

(Rick, the following pics all came from my new phone. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to how they will be oriented when attached. They all open to the correct orientation.)

Parts came! Well, some parts came. I have a NOS M151 grill straight out of the box. Appears to have a minor manufacturing defect which I will see if anyone notices when I finally get into the manner in which it should (or could) be mounted. There is no question in my mind that stocks of parts which probably didn't pass inspection are still out there. I will not mention the seller as this item was still in its original packaging and had not been physically inspected by the seller. I am not complaining. Happily, in this case, the so-called defect has no bearing on it's use on this project..

I decided to spread some money around to folks I normally don't have cause to do business with. Thank you, George at Army Jeep Parts, for your kind attention to detail and for your follow-up call to me to ensure my order was correct! These brake lines are just exactly what I needed!

And a refurbished output shaft yoke, complete with a brand new Speedi Sleeve and a good coat of paint. Paired with a new seal, this will button up the front output very nicely.

Just logged out and she's still not there.

So I don't think it has anything to do with being a moderator.

I'll defer to Rick.

Assuming his conscience lets him reply after killing her

Well, it sounds like the others can see the avatars but the mods cannot. This is what I need to know so I know whether it is a global setting or a local one. TJ or Surveyor or Hambone, can any of you see Raymonds or TJ's avatars?

No user avatar visible to me on anyone. Replaced with the words "user avatar".

Would a screen shot be of assistance?
