Re: CMD Body Panels
We have the front crossmember parts in our weld shop now. This is the first set and we'll have some adjustments to make as the DS and PS parts are complex. I'll have an idea next week for a price.

Re: CMD Body Panels
They did not. However, would'nt offend me if they did as I would just make more. Overseas demand has been greater than ours lately.

Sales are sales, no matter where they go. I was just busting on you because ALL of the first run of side panels I think it was went there. Gonna have to talk to Richard the next time he visits, if he will even talk to us low-lifes anymore. HE is buying dinner next time!

Re: CMD Body Panels
2nd attempt. Have a few more adjustments to make. I also made some updates to the full side panel program and we'll be running the next round of full sides starting next week.

Re: CMD Body Panels
Another update for those who have interest. Before I left today I turned in orders for (4) sets of A1 full side panels and (6) sets of A2 full side panels. Also ordered DS and PS side cowl panels. We've made and sold a handful of these and now we're running a production run. Picture shows ours on the left and NOS on right. Yes Buddy, that's yours!
The A2 rear cross member is proved out and we are working on the tail light backing plate for the cross member. We should be able to run some test pieces next week and then we'll have the A2 rear cross member, complete. I'm pushing to get new parts available and have them ready for the convention in Findlay this year.

Re: CMD Body Panels
Love to see the parts I am going to need! Keep up the great work.
But, please keep the parts page updated with prices! As the new parts come out, many of us are eagerly waiting for when they become available, but we need prices.
At least those of us on skimpy budgets.

Still crazy after all these years.

Re: CMD Body Panels
Next round of full side panels are going through the shop. We've developed better fixtures and tweaked part fit up. If you need some let me know as they're going fast. For those that have already contacted me, your name is on the "waiting parts" list.

Re: CMD Body Panels
Weld fixture for ensuring accuracy on the cowl side panels. The location points for the side panel, top of cowl and front fender top all need to be held. This is a way to make that happen. The slits in the fixture are for welding while clamped down. We also have some aluminum heat sinks coming out of the machine shop for these parts. Finished part will also have the door rod bracket and offsets to match the original design.
