Work on the site

Unread post by rickf » May 12th, 2019, 2:11 pm

Did some work on the site this morning, I would like input from everyone on whether you notice anything different. Also let me know if it is logging you in on the secure site, this will be evidenced by the https:// in the url bar up top.

Mine doesn't say "not secure" anymore and it starts with https://, other than that, I don't see any changes.

I'm getting the "secure website" padlock on my browser, whereas I had not been getting that for some time. In fact, it was asking me if I was sure I wanted to go to this website as it was not deemed "safe". I finally checked the box telling it not to ask that anymore for our website.

Not out of the woods yet, we were switched to a different server that is still running an ancient version of the software, I have about a week, maybe two, to get the latest version updated. Since his has not been done in 7 years it is not a simple plug and play. We may end up losing stuff I don't know. There will most likely be more outages as this goes on.
