Aberdeen 2019
Who's showing up this year? I will be in spaces A1-3. Anyone bringing Mutt parts or Post what you need, maybe someone coming will have it.

Re: Aberdeen 2019
I may drive down for a day trip, the last couple years certainly were not worth my motel stay. When I was vending there and staying on site it was not so bad but since they took our spots away "For traffic control" and then put a half million dollar RV in our old spots I just said the hell with it. I will never vend there again. I think that show has become more of a gathering place for people to meet once a year than it is a swap meet/show.

We still do alright selling but the show has really declined the last few years. Same faces every year, Not noticing new blood. Between the lack of interest in the hobby, surplus drying up and collections being sold off, I don't know how much longer it will last.
With that said, whatca got tranny parts wise?

I have nothing as far as transmission stuff beside one spare transmission that I need to put a reverse lockout kit in and syncros.

Re: Aberdeen 2019
Show management, Outrageous vendor spot prices and location on a paved lot that is subject to strong storms that blow your cover away are all contributing factors. No security at night or day and drunks racing around in motorcycles, trucks and cars around the lot all night have just turned me off to the place. I have had parts stolen right off of my 151 as it was parked at my site. I have had stuff stolen from my vendor tables and even 20 mm ammo cans stolen. I caught one guy walking off with one and had to threaten to beat the crap out of him to get it back. At that time I was in good enough shape to have done it. No longer.Barlow L wrote:We still do alright selling but the show has really declined the last few years. Same faces every year, Not noticing new blood. Re: Aberdeen 2019
Have had good luck with nothing walking away but of course up until last year, we slept with our stuff.
it takes a day for me to recover from a night on my cot.

Re: Aberdeen 2019
I haven't been in years. Usually just went up for the day & arranged to pick up stuff like tires & paint from the vendors to save on shipping/haz-mat fees. What are the dates for that show?
