Brake Shoes Orientation

Unread post by bazookajoe » April 14th, 2019, 11:21 pm

OK...going goofy here,I cant find in the T.M.s where it would state if the longer brake shoes go in front or in back. I believe the longer shoes are installed in the back on the Mutt. Yes or No????

I am not sure where my spare brakes are but I seem to remember that all the shoes were the same and there was no leading or trailing shoe on the mutt set. But if you have a longer shoe it will be the trailing shoe. I also looked in the manual and it shows equal length shoes.

According to the -34P the shoes are the same length. Maybe the ones you have were relined? They should still work, probably better than stock.
