Because of my other post, please allow me to ask how much you paid for it.

Prices just don't compare between the States and Europe. As a minimum expect the same amount of Euros for a number in Dollars.

For Deuces it is even worse. A M35 is at least twice expensive over here compared to the States. Most of the time the factor is actually 3-4.

Horst,

That's exactly the same what I see. Is it caused by shipping, custom, tax, margin ... Seems to be so. Or European dealers wants to become rich in a short term.

There was a M35 on GL recently, sold for 6500$, it was like new with 4.000 miles on the clock. That is though to see from this side of the world.

Don't go by what you see on the gauges, I have seen many of them that have been changed out. More now than before since G/L has realized the secrete is out and people are fighting over them now. That and some lucrative contracts for rehabbing them for other countries. Morocco is buying thousands of our surplus trucks! That is why a deuce 5 years ago was 1200.00 tops is now 2500.00 minimum!

Richard, I doubt the European dealers are importing them. There were many of them surplussed over there. Your second assumption is probably the correct one.

Rick,

That thing was like new! Not only the odometer. I am jealous.

You guys have still a fresh supply of M35A2 and A3s from GL. Over here there is no more like this.

Anyway , I own a rust bucket and have to live with it. I am now owning tools half a year ago I did not know they exist. At least I managed that the diesel started after a few months.

Actually Rick, this monster is outside and only time and weather permitting I can work on it. That's why it takes me ages to have any significant progress. I will post some pics...
The M201 sits at the same location, a friends farm, but in a waterproof foil, I haven't touched it for 2 years. I plan to play with it again maybe next year.

Good thing the 151 just runs without issues on the few occasions I use it, like the every Sunday ride to the bakery :)
