In the last picture, anyone notice the star on the two MUTT's are in two different locations (rear-side)?
And the front MUTT with the TOW (for some unknown reason) still has the windshield on it? Tow equipped MUTT's didn't have windshields, according to what I have read/seen. Maybe a later conversion?
Actually, I went back and looked close at the middle picture. It also appears to still have a windshield on it, as you can make out the windshield wiper motor.

Hmmmm.

I should say a fellow member and friend of mine (Irv) that lives across town, has a righteous TOW MUTT. All he is lacking is the actual TOW tube. He has all the brackets, mounts, tripod, straps, etc.
One GOOD looking TOW MUTT!

Hi Jason.

Will scan the installation instructions for you tomorrow.

Here is a pic of my TOW A2, its my favorite vehicle to take to shows etc.

Early M151 series TGMC's had to have the windshield as the stowage for the launch tube was along the outside lower edge of the windshield secured with straps thru footman loops to the cowl. When the lauch tube length was reduced as the system evolved, the stowage was moved back inside the vehicle.

All the TGMc's retained their windshields, however it was common to remove them prior to combat.
