Hey Jeff,

That's pretty funny, I thought it was too much trouble for you to read both message boards? :P

I am going to post this ahead of time for this may happen. I am considering selling my M-4 pedestal mount. I am finding that the M4 mount may not be correct or not as common during the war in Vietnam. I am seeing more pics of mounts that are located farther back into the rear. Anyone have pics of these mounts?????

The M-4 was the only "official" mount for the M-151. That being said, in the field no -one apparently waited for them to arrive through the supply chain, and instead fabricated mounts out of whatever they had hanging around. All sorts of mounts were devised and used on them. So, make whatever you like up, chances are it would match what somebody in Nam did somewhere.... Thats whats great about them, its hard to be incorrect.

Yea, esp with transportation units, they did not wait for the govt to help them with security issues of convoy protection. Now that being said. With all of my trucks I strive for accuracy. If they did not have a M4 mount, well I guess I dont need it.
