This pic has been on here before, but here it is again. This is part of my collection, though most are not U.S.

A friend of mine built my FAL variant from an Austrian STG 58 parts kit. To its right is it's little brother, an FNC carbine. It is a class 3 weapon with a 4 position selector switch. To it's right is my AK variant. It is an Israeli Galil. I used to shoot my brother in laws AK and like the peep sights on the Galil a lot better.

BTW Motorcityman Is the 4th rifle from the left a sporterized Krag or is it a genuine cavalry carbine. A Krag is a heck of a nice rifle, and it and a Jap Arisaka are conspicuously missing from my collection. My wife says otherwise.

I'm trying to see what all is there, and having a tough time of it. Is the far left a Springfield trapdoor?

How about a run down of identity?

Yes, it's a first generation G3 (Spanish CETME) The same friend of mine who built the FAL also built the CETME. It is quite accurate, but the magazine well is kind of tight. I have tried the CETME clips, as well as NOS German Army steel and aluminum magazines. But it feeds and fires flawlessly. I put a DS Arms tactical range finding scope. It has a lit reticle, range finder, and bullet drop compensator calibrated for 7.63x51 NATO (.308) Mine is the one with the Dragonov reticle. This scope is made in Romania (a close ally of WW2 Germany) in a factory that made some of the WW2 German U-boat periscopes.

This is one rare piece you got there  , i've never heard from anyone that they ever even saw a CETME Rifle. I've fired the Pak made G3 and the German G3, feels like a dream. Wonder what surprises this beauty might have. This rifle is one in a billion!

The tighter the magazine, the better it is, right? at least this is what i was told.

Raymond you rule! :D

I've attached a picture of my collection, they don't come near yours. But my only unique one is the Russian AKM (at least over here) . I want to get a sight for it, since their is no way to get one from abroad, i'll just have dream about it. :D

I'd trade it for your Krinkov. That is what we call the AK type rifle all the way on the right in your picture. Actually, CETME parts kits and receivers and the required U.S. made parts were cheap and plentiful here in the U.S. about 4 or so years ago. You could build them for little or nothing. I wish we had not soldered the muzzle compensator in place. I could put the original flash hider on now.
