Which manual covers the installation of the KY-57.

Salt6,
Try checking out http://www.prc68.com/I/KY57.shtml . It is beyond my narrow band of understanding, but it addresses installation of the KY-57 on several radio configurations.

The TM you need is TM11-5810-256-OP-6 (12-May-1983). This replaced the version dated 03-Nov-1980.

With the 4 color camo and the ROPS I'd say late 70's.

Hello Steve,

I seem to remember that several years ago, you had a webpage which described, in pictures, your restoration of an M151. I searched for it a year or so ago and it was gone. Did you take it down? Has it been relocated to another URL?
Just wondering....

Ken,

I moved servers and didn't put it back up. That said, I'm now slowly putting it back up.

Hi Steve,
that's good to know. I used to advise owners to go look at your pages to get inspiration to restore their vehicles..... it would be good to be able to refer people to it again, along with Frederic's postings.
Let me know what the URL will be when you get it up and running again....

Hey salt6 - any suggestions on where to get the KY-57 "cover" that goes over the mount/radio combo ?? I'd like to have one of those just to keep water off my radio !!

(Since a canvas cover costs $100.00 !!!)

Thanks!

Here is the one on the Fair website

https://www.fairradio.com/catalog.php?m ... item=12616

and the one he sells on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5810-01-043-464 ... m232435ba6

If I were to do this again I'd remove the radio mount from the vehicle.
