SINCGARS!

Recently got a 1439 radio and all the mounting hardware etc is now installed in my A2 just need to finish the power wiring for a test run
The radio runs fine off it’s manpack battery

Anyone else have a sincgars? It’s a little to modern for the mutt came out in 88

You did a radio check with flight ops with a privately owned radio?! Do you know what the inside of Leavenworth looks like? Do you want to? You might not want to do that again.

I also know the military has no sense of humor when a civilian with a radio accesses their network! I know Husker is active duty but in this instance he is a civilian. Which probably would make it worse for him since he would have to answer to the Jag.

When you mentioned Fort Leavenworth, we built a transmission power line close to it(when up in the air I can remember seeing the soldiers marching, etc.)One morning when going to our trucks, someone took all of the tools as well as the air powered tamps, hoses.Aw, that's all I remember.Like to say more.
