I just noticed, during wheel restoration, that I have one wheel with five rectangular holes vs the standard round holes. Where did this come from, Volkswagon?

sounds like the original m151 magnesium wheels... pretty rare, were only used on early m151 jeeps not a1 or a2
Did it look like these?

Yupper, that's it. It has an ALCOA stamp on the back, among others. I'll use it as the spare. It's light and shouldn't stress the spare mount as much.

Also my OCD won't allow the "wrong" wheel to be placed with the four on the ground.
