What side should the antenna be mounted? Before anyone starts... I know the outside, not underneath, ...etc.
I have sveral "homemade" holes, ala deer hunters and bubba mods, to fix, so I know which holes not to repair.
The A1 came with the "scoop" mounted directly to the left rear corner. BTW I don't have a radio, I plan on modifying a cooler to simulate one.
antenna mounting

the antenna mounted on the side the radio was, which could have been either side or both. Most common was on the passenger side, as it counterbalanced the radio and driver, and the driver could see and possibly reach the radio. If the jeep was used with an operator though it was sometimes the other way. So pick whichever side you think looks best to you and go with it.

There is a soft cover book Farewll to the Mutt that is a picture book of 151's with all types of configurations. The draw back is that the text isn't in English, but the pictures are a wealth of information. Don't know if it is still published but it shows 151's A1's and A2's, including what appears to be seat bealts on a new 151A1.
