Greetings I just need some confirmation on sometime

I got some 90wt Manual Tranny oil GL-1 for Ford trannys says it's Mineral oil is that ok for my MUTT? I think it would be but now I'm not sure and have doubts. I know it's probably a stupid question but don't want to damage my MUTT so any advice would be greatly appreciated. and I promise I won't bring it up again

Never mind I found the answer on the difference* between Mineral and Gear oil but is that oil ok? in a Mutt Tranny? I think it would be right?

The mineral is non-synthetic

Thanks for the tip on where to buy the oil. Have been using regular gear oil in the mutt trans for 18 years. What is the wrong oil suppose to do to the tranny? :!:

GL-5 without the MT-1 additive will eat the yellow metal. The brass synchros and bushings. I think all of the major companies have solved the problem many years ago but I just use GL-4 or earlier.
