U joint grease nipple

Hi fellows,

im grasing all u joint relevant to axles, i think there are some nipples brokes but i dont understand how i can remove them .. it doesnt seem to be possible to remove them with a socket or a wrench cause the are circular... shoult i use a piler to remove them (no screw connection)?

I have removed the round ones with locking needle nose pliers, the hex ones are usually 5/16, if the body is broke off, may have to resort to screw extractor.

Once you get the grease gun zerks replaced, here is the best way to grease them

The ones on the axle u joints are very hard to grease with a standard grease gun fitting.

Mini grease gun with extension and grease needle.
