Anyone rebuilding rear diff's ?? 2 of mine Mine leak orange slim. Water has probably ruined them and I would like to have 2 of them inspected and refreshed with new parts and seals.

Wasn't there a post on this site a good while ago going thru a differential overhaul?
There was on 3-14-2011, GUIDE TO OVERHAULING THE 151 series differential by Armybuck041.
Go to the search box type in differential overhaul, there will be several options
VERY GOOD POST

I would rather pay someone who does this alot, rather than do it myself. (my 2 cents)

I considered doing it but several problems arise. First is the shipping both ways is going to be expensive. Second is the fact that these rears are noisy. They start out quiet but within a few hundred miles they all get loud, it is just the nature of the beast. There is very little metal surrounding the gears in these plus the solid mounting. Anyone rebuilding these professionally would have to be ready for people complaining that it was "done wrong" or it is "making noise and I want my money back". Nope, I am not getting into that mess. Better if you just do it yourself.
