Couple months back I replaced wheel bearings, cups, and seals on my M416 trailer. I took the ones I removed to local company that specializes in those products. I have not started on the Jeep because I did have to order the seals. I just looked up Army parts numbers using -20 for Jeep and -14 for trailer. The parts numbers for cups and cones are same for both vehicles.
Cup # 7536132 is Timken LM 501310
Cone #8762093 is Timken LM 501349
Seal # 516992 is National 471341NAT for M416
The big question is....what is the civilian parts number for wheel seals on M151A1 ? I am hoping Army used the KISS system for seals that fit Jeep or trailer. I have changed many during my career. However, I was using Army supply system. Not civilian side.

Re: Correct wheel seals for M151A1
I am going to go out on a limb here and say the hub seal will be different because the trailer does not have a drive axle coming through the back of it. Totally different hub system.

Re: Correct wheel seals for M151A1
I do have the NOS M-151 wheel seal kits. They include a wear sleeve for the drive stub to compensate for any wear or nicks in the stub so that the seal is the proper fit. One kit - one wheel. $20.00 each. Kevin.
