Dan.... are those A2 rear shocks DEFINITELY A2's? According to a recently-used pair I have, the extended dimension is 14.6 in. and the compressed dimension is 10.23 in. These are pretty close to those KYB Excel-G 345056 shocks which are supposedly matching replacements for the Monroe D8068 shocks that Greek Antony told me about.

Years ago I bought a replacement pair of A2 rear shocks which turned out to be used-on Gama Goats....they looked identical to the old original A2 takeoff rear shocks but they were an extremely hard ride.

If I get time tomorrow, I'll measure up my old original takeoff A2 rears to double-check those measurements.

ps.... I'm assuming that your measurements in those pictures are from center-of-eye to center-of-eye? :D

Ken
Kind regards....
Ken

Hello Ken, I will try to find the A-2 shocks and remeasure them, in the photo it looks a bit off from center. they are old photos from about 5 or 6 years ago, I am hopeful that I can read the numbers on the tag if its still on them.  :D Here's another photo of 151 and A-1 shocks.

$79.00 a piece at AJP parts. https://www.armyjeepparts.com/p-3511-m1 ... 41029.aspx

Now Fil since you are such a wheeler dealer are you going to purchase 200 of them wholesale and undercut AJP's price? :D

Have a set of NOS for sale.
$140.00 plus shipping.
That’s my speed.

But for how much?

One of the themes I see over and over on this site is people asking for a price for something that is listed for sale. It is aggravating to see something for sale with no price and I know most sites require the listing of a price as part of their rules of the classifieds. I have tried not to institute that here since it has not been an issue but it is fast becoming one. A lot of people, me included, do not feel like getting into a bidding war or a bargaining session on parts. Just put the price out there for all to see.
And just a side note, two of the sites I am on will delete any sale ad that is put up on a forum other than the classifieds! They do that to keep all of the sales in one place and give no one person preference over another. If you have something someone needs mentioned in that particular thread you just say you have it for sale in the classifieds.
This is another thing I don't want to go to but if problems crop up as they are doing I will start thinking along those lines.

Amen Rick plus seller location and/or zipcode so buyer can approximate shipping costs or distance for pickup! :!:
