Rear Differential mounting bracket parts kit

Unread post by Rossco » April 28th, 2019, 7:06 am

Another question for the team?
What is the purpose of the two piece bracket kit which attaches to the rear suspension pickup point and the front differential mounting bolt?
I imagine its to improve the strength of the existing diff mount? Is it a worth while extra to install??

There was A MWO on the first AMG body contract to repair that deficiency
As A result the mod was issued.
Had one installed on an earlier A2 with a damaged mount.
Later mounts were much stronged.

Ken
Thanks for supplying further info re these brackets.
So if my a2 has the later up graded rear diff mount then these additional brackets are not required?
