Looking for a under hood frame rail

Unread post by rjonesiv » May 10th, 2019, 9:04 pm

I am in search of a driver’s side frame rail. Anyone have any leads? The photo, obviously, isn’t my mutt but is exactly what I am in need of. Thanks.

That is not a frame "rail" per say, It is part of the unibody construction. If you look at it you will see it is inter-folded pieces of sheet metal.

Gotcha. I didn’t know what to call it. Haha. The driver’s side of my A1 is rotted beyond repair. That’s the only portion that is rotted out that bad

Start a thread here in restoration with a few pics of your jeep, especially some detailed of the underbody, we will advise to the best of our ability, what type of resto are you wanting? I'm not far from you and have a few junkers  . I've spent many days at the motocross track in Plain Dealing when my kids were young.
