Good eye TJ, I need to tweak the mirror bracket, it is bent in, had to prop the windshield up, have a friend coming over today to help me with lifting the ROPS, he must be out of beer  , can't buy beer on Sunday in Arkansas.

You can see how the paint is peeling up, the first two ribs of the fender top peeled right up but the other two are stuck like glue.

Fil, I will get a pic of how they mounted this one, you're a good salesman.

Here is one attempt to remove the ROPS, point of interest is rear wheel well is starting to buckle from floor jack pressure??? The base board was right next to ROPS pipe across side to side of the body
I forgot to resize the picture

I was wondering that myself, I have read if CARC was used it was written on the vehicle, not taking that chance though.

No, I didn't get hurt, just a lot of curse words, which sometimes helps the progress being made! LOL I even read that somewhere.

If I tried that there would at some point be timbers popping out of the stack and probably landing on my foot.

I might add, as I posted somewhere else in a different post, I was not successful, I had to cut one ROPS pipe and then heat, a big pipe wrench to turn the pipe on the cut side, the other side I grabbed the ROPS with a chain hooked to Pick up to turn/break loose in the foot.I been looking for a Canadian ROPS to put on the 151, but success

Here is a good picture of an ambulance and you can see the litter pole through the floor.

I am open to suggestions on this paint removal, I have a feeling it is CARC, I have tried 40 grit sand paper, aviation paint remover, but the best method has been just scraping it off. If anyone has had experience in removing this super thick paint, let me know your best method, otherwise, I have a lot of scraping to do. :x

There are a lot of heavy metals in CARC so be careful with sanding, wear a good respirator (NOT a dust mask!) and a tyvek suit that you can leave in the garage so you don't take the dust in the house with you. If paint remover is not cutting it then it probably is CARC and that is exactly what it is supposed to do. Chemical Agent Resistant Coating.
Try heating the metal from underneath and see if that helps. Not to hot or you will warp the parts.

When I had to strip a CARC vehicle for work I used a wet sandblaster attachment for the pressure washer. Still not ideal since the stuff is now on the ground but..................................
