So when you write it up you can either ask for another engine or if you want to itemize start off with the radiator, shroud, fan, upper mount and bracket. Throttle linkage and also write up for a new distributor. If it landed on it then it could be bent or cracked. You will not know until you pull it out. Check the front crank pulley, if it had to land on one end or the other the front was best because the sheet metal pulley will absorb the shock and protect the crank. If the pulley is bent in, even if it isn't, be sure to check the end play on the crank and that will tell you if it damaged the thrust bearing. Be sure to list every single item that is damaged and stress that this is an antique item and parts are not that simple or cheap to find. It will help to start getting together a list of parts prices, I would suggest TJ Murray and Army Jeep parts since they seem to have fairly high prices compared to others.

Get it all unwrapped and take a bunch of pictures just as it sits before you touch anything so it is all on record.

Blake or Justin @ Red River Parts has good price on NOS radiators, he will have what you need and has the best prices, unless you can find some here.

Took my day off to do my brakes and wheel bearings got 3 of the 4 done repacked and reinstalled along with brakes and new wheel cylinders the front drivers side had a very stubborn half shaft that wouldn’t compress at all.... to much old grease?
Had some issues pressing in the new seal on the passanger side any tips on doing it without bending or cracking the seal I ruined the first one

Also spent some time putting a u joint back together after all the needle bearings fell out....
