Big thanks to Guy @lpcoating for helping me get a substantial order together and get the body squared away on my project! Really appreciate everything you to for the hobby, Guy! Can't wait for my crate to arrive!

2nd attempt. Have a few more adjustments to make. I also made some updates to the full side panel program and we'll be running the next round of full sides starting next week.

Any update on these? As soon as I can get my hands on these I can resume work on my A1.
Hello Francis. We've made a couple of prototypes and we're one modification away from having accurate parts. I'll get with the guys and have them button it up.

Guy
Just dropped in for another update. Will these be available soon?

Had a request for the muffler and tail pipe brackets:

These are the prototypes. Guessing these will be pretty low usage but will run a batch and keep some in stock.

Might be nice to roll a few shields to go with them. I know a lot of the A1's I have seen were rotted away.

I didn't really think that through when I posted it but there are welded on brackets on the shield that go to the floor.

Thought I take some pictures of what we have going on today. Stocking up as inventory was getting a little low. The sheared / bent pieces are "blank" versions of the mid crossmember. Have a few people that need to repair the ends. The complete crossmember will be available fairly soon. I seem the be getting asked about that part more these days. Also have another batch of full side panels and some other parts going through.

Anyone want to guess what this tooling is for? Not complete yet but close!

First guess: Tail light bracket for the A2 rear cross member?

Second guess: A piece of the mid cross member?

Good guesses. However, the correct answer is shovel head bracket. This is a complex part. Our QC guy that runs the scanner and I had multiple lengthy conversations on tooling design. This is going to take (2) die sets. We'll find out how it works soon!
