Cannibalizing rusted out bodies....

Unread post by Refit1701 » January 8th, 2021, 11:38 am

I have a rusted out, twisted 151 body and am thinking about cutting useable sections off of to repair a much better 62 body. My buddy thinks this is a bad idea, even though he knows that bad frame will never be restored. I can save time and money by using sections of it....am I committing heresy? Resources are low these days.

If you have any good parts that can be used, I'd cut them off and save them. Even if you don't use, there might be someone else that needs them in the future.

That was my plan. I did buy the rear panel from you and might yet get something else.
